Wolves in Oregon

March 28, 2008: Northern Rocky Mountain wolves de-listed from federal Endangered Species List, including in the eastern third of Oregon (boundary of Highways 395/78/20)

Remember, Oregon wolves are still protected by the state’s Endangered Species Act until ODFW documents four breeding pairs for three consecutive years in eastern Oregon. The state has a Wolf Management Plan in place and is ready to manage wolves.

What federal delisting of wolves means for livestock producers
